You have surely already heard Arijit Singh's popular Hindi film song "Soch Na Sake" from Airlift starring Akshay Kumar.

This song and the meaning behind it touched North America's Bollywood singing sensation Shweta Subram so much that she had to sing it herself. "I would like thank Raashi for the wonderful production and the soul that she brought with her piano," says Shweta. Watch the music video via WBRi.

The concept was brilliant, execution flawless in a first-of-its-kind tribute. Debojyoti Mishra brought familiar characters associated with Salil Chowdhury alive on the podium - from “Runner” and “Madhumoti” to “Anand”. These characters met each other in the different phases of the composer's life. The characters were played by leading contemporary theater actors and popular singers. Singers Rupankar, Anweshaa Dutta Gupta and Shovan Ganguly; actors Neel Mukherjee, Koneenica Bandyopadhyay, and members from Chetana Group Theater were among those on the stage. A whose-who of performers also included ace studio musicians.

Koechlin made her screen debut with a supporting role in 2009 critically acclaimed Dev.D, which earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress. She subsequently featured in the commercially successful comedy-dramas Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011) and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013), both ranked among one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films, and earned her two Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress nominations. Hindus have commended SkyTeam, global airline alliance with 20 member airlines, for launching yoga rooms in their lounges at London Heathrow and Hong Kong International airports, calling it a step in the positive direction.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) approved a record $2.6 billion of new financing and investments for the private sector in 2015, a 37% increase from a year earlier and 62% higher than in 2013.

As a result of this significant expansion, ADB’s private sector investment portfolio has increased to over $8 billion, and its private sector operations are now targeted to double from current levels by 2020.

Upset Hindus have urged for the immediate withdrawal of tee shirt, tank tops, mug and blanket with Lord Ganesha’s image sold by a Columbus (Ohio) headquartered apparel and home goods company Print Syndicate, calling these highly inappropriate.

Hindus have strongly objected to slogans/statements printed on these five products (marketed under its brand “Look Human”) around Lord Ganesha’s image, such as NAMASTE BITCHES and BITCH DON'T KILL MY VIBE.
