Designer Agnimitra Paul and critically acclaimed filmaker Subrata Sen recently came together to launch ‘A Thousand Unspoken Words’,  the debut novel of Paulami Dutta Gupta.

Internationally acclaimed Salsa dancer Neeraj Maskara won the 1st annual lifetime achievement award at the Berlin Salsa Congress in Berlin. One of the most sought after Jazz Ballet and Salsa dancers in Europe, Neeraj Maskara is also the founder of a global level dance platform ‘Bailamos’. This festival will take place in Mumbai for the first time in the month of April 2016. Neeraj will be joined by a veteran in the field of dance, Terence Lewis who is also the event’s brand ambassador.

Sri Venkateswara Temple (SVT) in Helensburgh (near Sydney, Australia) is reportedly adopting a cow (and a calf) for worshiping and using its milk for sprinkling on temple deities in a religious ritual.

The concept was brilliant, execution flawless in a first-of-its-kind tribute. Debojyoti Mishra brought familiar characters associated with Salil Chowdhury alive on the podium - from “Runner” and “Madhumoti” to “Anand”. These characters met each other in the different phases of the composer's life. The characters were played by leading contemporary theater actors and popular singers. Singers Rupankar, Anweshaa Dutta Gupta and Shovan Ganguly; actors Neel Mukherjee, Koneenica Bandyopadhyay, and members from Chetana Group Theater were among those on the stage. A whose-who of performers also included ace studio musicians.
