Ranbir Kapoor studied in New York City for more than three years and reminisces about the places he used to eat and shop at while shooting for ANJANI ANJANI in NYC. This is the first feature film shot in New York for Ranbir Kapoor.

Ranbir plays the character of Akash against KIRA played by PRIYANKA CHOPRA. People are an interruption for Akash. If you ever met him at a coffee shop, or were seated next to him on a plane or on the metro ride home. You would be tempted to turn to him, maybe only to ask him the time. There is something about him that draws you to him, and yet all too quickly just when you think you have his attention, you lose him. It’s the way he likes it and he would turn to you maybe even smile and say – “I have no interest in you. Absolutely none – zilch”. And that would be the end. It isn’t personal – with Akash - it never is personal. It is what it is.
So then who is he? This man who chooses to remain aloof, alone – always a  

Ranbir Kapoor stresses that the cast and crew are dressed for winter because shooting in NYC takes place in winter, a few days before Christmas - so that christmas lights and decorations are visible all around in a festive atmosphere in spite of the recession. He hopes the audience will reciprocate with the film and like it.

ANJAANA ANJAANI is a story about two stranger - one stranger than the other. Two people can meet ANYWHERE. In a cab on a rainy New York afternoon, at the neighborhood bar, in a queue waiting to use the ATM Machine, On a plane, deep sea diving, in the middle of an earth quake, sitting on that famous bench at the Taj Mahal or standing under the Pyramids in Egypt. You can meet someone in the most mundane of circumstances or in the most exotic ones. Akash and Kiara meet. But they meet in a situation as unusual as no other.

With the tag line of "Amar Neyi Kono Porichoy - Shobai Bejonma Tai Koye", BEJANMA appears to be a film about the life of a man born out of brothels.

BEJONMA is directed by Ashish Mitra. The music composer is the famous disco-man Bappi Lahiri. Sandip Sen is the cinematographer and Swapan Guha the editor.

Young film-maker Manan Singh Katohora of Silver Spring, Maryland, will commence shooting of a Bollywood-style Hindi language thriller movie titled 9 ELEVEN in the Washington DC area in Fall of 2010. 9 ELEVEN is one of the first, if not the first, Bollywood film to be shot in the DC Area.

It is to be recalled that our beloved RAJ BASU (may his soul rest in peace) made the first Bengali film completely shot in the DC area, titled PIYALIR PASSWORD.

CHICAGO, IL: On Septemeber 17th, Sadhana Pictures will be releasing it's premiere feature film production, Kings of Devon (Bengali, 2010). The film will be exhibited at Big Cinemas theaters in Niles, IL, San Jose, CA and Edison, NJ as well as the New Fun Plex in Houston, TX. Kings of Devon will play in the aforementioned theaters on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the September 17th weekend. The proceeds from the film will go to benefit underprivileged children from the slums of Dhaka, Bangladesh who receive free education and food from Shishu Bikash Kendra and Distressed Children International.

The director Rahsaan Islam is a second generation Bengali-American and founder of Sadhana Pictures.

Kings of Devon is an entertaining mystery-thriller for the family to see. It features debutant actors who have dedicated themselves to the movie and the cause. Bakhtiar Hafeez, Tamim Chowdhury, Rahsaan Islam, Ridwan Islam, Trishna Murad, Kruti Pandya, Aftabur Rahman and Shafohi Alamgir lead a talented cast. Original music has been composed by Rusho Mahtab. The film is also produced and directed by Rahsaan Islam.

Kings of Devon is set on Devon Avenue, the home of South Asian immigrants in Chicago. Synopsis

Tere Mast Mast Do Nain is a pretty nice romantic song where Salman Khan's character Chulbul Pandey is seen trying to woo the beautiful Sonakshi Sinha. Sonakshi does not seem to be averse to advances made by Chulbul, either - it is a good guess the couple will soon have a spicey romatic relationship.

Model Sonakshi Sinha is debuting as a feature-film actress in Dabangg. Born 2 June 1987, she is the daughter of Indian superstar of yesteryears - Shatrughan Sinha. Sonakshi has participated in top Indian fashion shows, including Lakme Fashion week in 2008 and 2009.

Inspector Chulbul Pandey is a romatic - with love in his eyes - in the teaser, hearts dance on his sunglasses when he sees beautiful women. He is also corrupt and super-bad in a lawless land, but loved by everyone because he is a bad-ass Robin Hood. He fights hard with people on a railway platform, jokes with his own police force, threatens other police officers and criminals, and dances and sings with the public. Dabang, Salman Khan’s home-production produced by brother Arbaaz Khan, is likely to release during EID this year (September 10th).
For EID last year, Salman made a super-successful comeback with Wanted, which went on to smash box office records at single screens.

Magic Hour Entertainment's  Egaro - The Immortal XI is an upcoming Bangla movie celebrating the best of Indian soccer (football) and the July 29, 1911 historic victory of the Indian team of Mohun Bagan against the British East Yorkshire Regiment, thus Mohun Bagan lifting the IFA Shield for the first time ever. “Jug Jug Jiyo” is a Bengali Film produced by Saheli Film Productions and commenced by Bappadityo. Directed by Sankar Roy and written by Ujjal Chatterjee, it is a film based on soccer.

Indra Chaudhury, who left his native village Jagatpur accused as betrayer by own club Yubashakti, returned there after 12 years. Yubashakti President Nateshwar Dutta and Indra’s lover Nandini welcome him. Indra was in tussle with Rudra Roy of arch rival club Bhatri Sangha for Nandini. Now Indra hopes that his brother Raju should fulfill his dream by defeating Bhatri sangha and regain respect for him. But Raju wants to be a rich man by any means.
