London, UK, October 18, 2012 (Washington Bangla Radio) Earlier this month, director-producer Karan Johar along with his debutant actors from Student Of The Year promoted their film in London.

The 40-year-old director along with the three new actors who form the lead cast of SOTY - Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra - spoke to Bollywood reporter Sunny Malik about the film, their characters and much more.

Welcome to London. How does it feel that you are here on your first international promotional trip?

Calcutta, Aug 19, 2012 (Washington Bangla Radio) The much awaited Bengali movie Lattoo directed by Ashis Roy and starring acclaimed Bollywood and Tollywood acting powerhouse Subrata Dutta (whose appearance in RGV's Rakht Charitra and more recently in Subrata Sen's Koyekti Meyer Golpo) is ready for release. Arijit Chakraborty of WBRi caught up with Subrata Dutta at an airport to chat about his marvelous experiences of shooting for this film and also about his upcoming films.

Subrata Dutta (or Subrat Dutt as he is known as in Mumbai) is indeed a busy man! Some upcoming high-profile Hindi movies are tucked under his sleeves, including psychological thriller Talaash: The Answer Lies Within with Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor, and "urban cocky thriller" Charlie Ke Chakkar Mein with Naseeruddin Shah, Amit Sial and others. Calcutta, Aug 19, 2012 (Washington Bangla Radio) After winning the hearts of all young men of Kolkata as Pupe (Sohini) in STAR Jalsha's popular Bengali television serial Ganer Oparey, Actress Mimi Chakraborty debuts on the silver screen with Sudeshna Roy - Abhijit Guha's feature film Bapi Bari Jaa (2012). She plays Dola, a childhood friend of Bapi essayed by Arjun Chakraborty, also her Ganer Oparey co-actor who played Gora. An exclusive video interview with WBRi.

Kolkata, Aug 19, 2012 (Washington Bangla Radio) Prosenjit Chatterjee had an idea of making a Bengali film with six young and new actors. Sri Venkatesh Films subsequently decided to take it up as well, and requested director-duo Sudeshna Roy and Abhijit Guha to work on a script and eventually direct the film. Noted Tollywood Kolkata Bengali movie scrip-writer Padmanava Dasgupta was then brought in, and over much brainstorming by the three, the script and story of Bapi Bari Ja began to take shape.
