Mumbai, Jan 22 - The multi-talented Priyanka Chopra and megastar Amitabh Bachchan have been named as the brand ambassadors of Indian government's Incredible India campaign and the country is hailing the government's decision as these two superstars have not only carved a niche for themselves here but have also made the nation proud globally.

Priyanka, who has become a global sensation post the release of her international singles and American TV show Quantico, will be next seen in Prakash Jha's Jai Gangaajal and the filmmaker is elated at the government's decision.

Talking about her selection as Incredible India’s brand ambassador, the National Award-winning filmmaker said, "She is already a global phenomenon, who is representing India in every way in terms of her work and persona. She has been recognised and awarded for her talent globally and I don't think there can be a better ambassador for Incredible India than Priyanka Chopra and of course, the legend, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, who is loved and adored by all. I think the two of them are the most incredible representatives of Incredible India."

Priyanka has made India proud with her accomplishments and now, she is all set to represent the female cops of our country with her next Jai Gangaajal, in which she is playing an IPS officer.

Written and directed by Prakash Jha, produced by Prakash Jha Productions and Play Entertainment and co-produced by Milind Dabke, Jai Gangaajal revisits the dusty heartland of Central India and examines the society–police relationship. Starring Priyanka Chopra, the movie is all set to release on 4th March, 2016.

Jai Gangaajal is not a prequel or a sequel to Ajay Devgn starrer Gangaajal but is a fresh story.
