Piyalir Password ( পিয়ালীর পাসওয়ার্ড), a film by Raj Basu, is a fast-paced suspense thriller set in Howard County, Montgomery County and Frederick County in Maryland, and Loudoun County in Virginia, USA, where a young woman comes to the United States from India to complete the legal formalities of her scientist sister’s accidental death.  However, as she tries to wrap things up, to her horror she discovers that perhaps her sister’s death was not accidental. Caught in a web of conspiracy in a foreign land she struggles to get behind the truth, determined to unravel the mystery behind her sister’s untimely death.

In 'Piyalir Password', filmmaker Raj Basu takes you through the turbulent journey of an Indian woman and her Indian American friend, as they desperately search for the truth behind a scientist's death. Caught in a web of conspiracy, they go through the thrilling race against time as they try to survive a fierce enemy. The film’s visual approach establishes the fear, the intense heartfelt emotions, the beat and the climax. Bickram Ghosh’s sound design establishes the reality of the tension, suspense and emotion. His original, imaginative and intriguing music strikes a chord with the audience. Vivek Banerjee’s cinematography, from subtly placed camera positions, captures the thoughts in creating a perfect medium for revealing the characters.
