Directed by Kabir Khan and starring Neil Nitin Mukesh, Katrina Kaif, John Abraham and Irfan Khan. Unfortunately, the movie seems to be an attempt by Bollywood kitsch for commercial exploitation of the tragedy. The claim is that the movie shows the 9/11 incident from the perspective of international students in New York City - but there is of course room for scepticism about a Bollywood musical style film with mindless singing and dancing sequences accurately capturing what America and New York is all about.

The trailer starts of with the Star Spangled Banner's first few notes and  our flag waving in the background - that scene by itself is remarkable in a way since it seems to portray American nationalism despite being a film produced in a foreign country a couple of oceans away.

There is still hope that this movie will be a pleasant surprise departure from tasteless Bollywood musicals. It is doubtful, though.

Bollywood should not have come and made a movie about an American incident with the goal of a box office hit. It may be in bad taste, and even worse, disrespectful of the families of many people whose loss on that day is unreplenishible.
