Latest New Indian Hindi Bombay Bollywood Movie Film Release

A great look into the working of the Bombay Hindi Bollywood Movie industries (and the Film Industry in general), Luck By Chance, written and directed by Zoya Akhtar, tells the story of wannabee actors Vikram Jaisingh (Farhan Akhtar) and Sona Mishra (Konkona Sen Sharma) chasing Bollywood glory. Many Bollywood icons have cameo roles in this Hindi film, including Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Kareena Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukherjee, Vivek Oberoi and John Abraham.

Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy directed the music for the Hindi Bollywood Movie Songs in this movie. Almost all the song-dance sequences are in the context of other movies in the Mumbai Film industry.

The movie has received excellent reviews across the world. The New York Times writes, "It might seem as if Bollywood couldn't possibly satirize itself — the genre is already so over-the-top — but Zoya Akhtar manages the trick deftly in Luck by Chance ... A fabulous circus-theme musical number pulls out all the stops, but a scene in which an acting teacher explains why Hindi stars have to be more talented than those in Hollywood is a subtle comic gem".
