"Ki Kore Toke Bolbo" music launch: a dozen years of Jeet Ganguli's musical journey

Kolkata, 10th February 2016: The music of ‘Ki Kore Toke Bolbo’ which recently took place at Lake Mall in presence of cast and crew turned out to be a gala affair.

Lead pair Ankush Hazra and Mimi Chakraborty along with Director Rabi Kiagi talked about their experiences while shooting the film.

The music launch event commenced with the screening of the film’s trailerThe music launch event saw singers Madhuraa Bhattacharya and Vicky A Khan performing the songs live infront of the huge audience in attendance. Shortly they were joined by ace music director Jeet Ganguli who has composed four songs in  the album.  Jeet Ganguli wooed the audience as he performed one of them. Music director Dev Sen who has composed one of the songs along with the background music also graced the occasion.

Jeet Ganguli also completed 12 years as composer in Tollywood on the very day of the event. Twelve years is often considered as an era and Jeet clearly was out of words to describe this long and eventful journey. Jeet thanked the audience for their continuous support throughout and his entire journey of musical career to Goddess Saraswati. He also dredged up the memories of his debut as a composer which happened a decade ago with Rabi Kinagi’s ‘Premi’.

Talking about the music of Ki Kore Toke Bolbo, Jeet Ganguli said, “It was like working with family. We have enjoyed a lot recording the new Bengali film songs. The audience already loves them and the music is surely going to be one of the high points in the movie. The audience should catch the movie on the very first day.”

Singers Papon and Palak Muchchhal who sang the title track of the film were highly praised by the composer.

Rabi Kinagi, said on the soundtrack OST release occasion, ‘Ki Kore Toke Bolbo’ is a matured love story. The film threw huge challenges for Ankush and Mimi which they passed with flying colours. We are very happy about how the movie has shaped up and are confident that the spectators would love every moment of it.”
