Veteran Bollywood Hindi film actor - writer - producer - director Manoj Kumar has started work on his latest Hindi movie "FROM INDIA WITH LOVE". Manoj Kumar is considered one of the greatest original actor-writer-directors along with Raj Kapoor and Guru Dutt.

Now in his 50th year in Bollywood cinema along with legends like Shashi Kapoor and Dharmendra,  Manoj Kumar was recently awarded the coveted Dada Saheb Phalke award in Mumbai on May 4, 2009.

Manoj Kumar has shared the script of From India With Love with  Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan and made it clear that SRK should not expect exorbitant actor fees from him, and if SRK agress, he will have to do so because he wants to do the character role and work with Manoj's unique style.

Manoj is a victim of the chaos during Partitioning of India, and is a strong Indian nationalist, who signed up with the BJP Political Party  (Bharatiya Janata Party) known for its refreshing views.

Among scores of films, Manoj has played lead roles in the blockbusters of yesteryear like Hariyali Aur Raasta, Do Badan, Gumnam, Aadmi, Kranti. His directorial efforts like Shaheed, Upkar and Purab Aur Paschim are well known for the depth of their content and thoughtful coverage of their subject. He directed Gumnam and wrote half of the script of Mera Naam Joker.
