Director Raj Chakraborty tells yet another teenage love story. The girl is a high-school student. The boy is a technician at a local auto repair. The girl's family is shocked. Things get complicated.

The film has been criticized for commercial utilization of the sad incident of Rizwanur & Priyanka Todi in Kolkata. In September 2008, Rizwanur’s dead body was discovered on the railway tracks a few days after Priyanka went back to her parents. Todi family members have been suspected of orchestrating Rizwanur's murder due to differences in status, class, faith and affluence.

The lead pair of Priyanka Sarkar as Pallavi and Rahul Bannerjee as Krishna are new faces in Bangla Movies. This gives the film a certain freshness. The movie is also the debut of Raj Chakraborty as a film director.
