AGYAT (2009)

Ram Gopal Verma's Agyaat promises to be Horror/Suspense thriller, the likes of which has seldom been seen in Hindi cinema (Gumnaam comes to mind.) A movie shooting unit in thick jungles of Sri Lanka faces death and horror from an entity that could be human or otherwise. Reminiscent of the Blair Witch Project (which was shot in a park a couple of minutes from my house), and of course, the landmark Predator,  the characters are clueless and suspect one another and everything else.

Agyat also has a bunch of fresh faces, with the exception of Nisha (Priyanka) Kothari. It has been produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Ram Gopal Varma. It seems the movie has been promoted pretty well, and there is eager anticipation for scaring  the living daylisght out of people.
