Abahaman (Bengali, 2009) is an upcoming Bengali new film release directed by Rituparno Ghosh and starring Riya Sen, Ananya Chatterjee, Jisshu Sengupta, Mamata Shankar and Dipankar De in lead roles.

Ria plays an expecting woman Tiya married to Jishu Sengupta. Tiya is yet to get over an affair with another man before marriage.

In a nested storyline, Dipankar is a Director, married to Mamata Shankar who he met while planning a film on Nati Binodini - but the film did not happen then and they got married instead. Later on Dipankar wants to resume the Nati Binodini project with the much younger actress played by Ananya.
