Srijit Mukherjee’s ‘Chohtuskone’ is a thriller involving four filmmakers

Srijit Mukherjee, the most sought after director of Tollywood, is getting ready to tell the tale of four directors in his next project titled ‘Chatuskone’. The title which means ‘four angles’ hints that there are four pivotal characters and definitely so. The ‘four angles’ are formed by Parambrata Chatterjee, Chiranjeet, Aparna Sen and Goutam Ghose who play the four filmmakers in the plot. Interestingly all of the four actors portraying the four directors have tried their hand in film direction. Actually Goutam Ghose and Aparna Sen remains more in news nowadays for their directorial ventures rather than their acts in front of the camera..

Aparna Sen plays the character of Trina, Chiranjeet will be seen portraying the character of Dipto, Goutam Ghose will be seen as Sakya while the fourth filmmaker is being played by Paramabrata and will get into the skin of his character Jayabrata.



The film is of a thriller genre where four directors set out to make four stories with one common theme, i.e. death. But things soon take unexpected turns and the four directors deals with one common secret.

Apart from the four of them, the film also has Payel Sarkar and Indrasish Roy, who will be playing actors in the film. Kaushik Ganguly, yet another director, will be seen playing the role of a producer. Anupam Roy is the leading man in the music department and will be contributing as the music composer, lyricist and singer. The other singers on board are Rupankar Bagchi, Somlata Acharyya Chowdhury, Lagnajita Chakraborty and Srikanto Acharya.
