Calcutta, September 25, 2011 (Washington Bangla Radio) Srijit Mukherji's Baishe Srabon is not the only Tollywood movie releasing in Kolkata in theaters on Sept 30.

Swarup Ghosh's "Warrnat - The Mission" is also releasing the same day at theaters including Minar, Chobighor and Bijoli.

Warrant stars Joy Mukherjee, Priyanka, Biswajit Chakraborty, Anamika Saha and others. It is a different love story focusing on various burning issues of West Bengal, says the writer of the film Malay Bandopadhyay (interview).

Warrant features Bengali film songs penned by Goutam Sushmit and music by Ashok Raj. The producer is Tiara Entertainment.

Official Synopsis

Rahul, Pritam and Gabu - three students of an Engineering College, kidnap Sanchita and Titir - two daughters of Mr. Suvankar Chakraborty, the Home Minister of West Bengal, in protest of sending combined force to banish terrorism, and reach a haunted house in a North Bengal forest.

In that house an old woman gives them shelter and even protects them from the police. Sanchita finds lots of reasons in support of Rahul's attitude. She falls in his love and tries to make an understanding between the terrorists and the Government. This effort reveals a great truth before the Home Minister which leads him to start a new battle to banish the reason of terrorism from West Bengal.
