The entire cast of the movie was present at the screening of the movie at the city’s Elgin Garden Theatres and the audience was totally taken by its artistry and fluidity.

Dhobi Ghat has Rao’s hubby Aamir Khan in the lead role of a painter. His character’s name is Arun, who lives in Bhendi Bazaar. The story is set in the monsoon season of Mumbai and it revolves around the feelings of an NRI girl, Shai, for Arun and a washer man, Zohaib. A glowing Kiran introduced the cast of her movie to the audience before the start of the screening of the movie. Rao seemed very happy with her directorial venture and is expecting that it does well at the Box Office.

Kiran has also written the script of Dhobi Ghat and she said that Indian audience will also appreciate this movie, just like the global audience. Sharing her experience about shooting the movie, Rao said that the toughest scene was to shoot during Ramadan on the infamously crowded Mohammed Ali Road last year, but that seeing the final product come out so good made all the efforts worth it.
