Transformers 3 has a tentative release date of July 1, 2011. Directed by Michael Bay, the next film in the Transformers sci-fi fantasy action-adventure film franchise (after Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen DVD Release) stars Shia Labeouf and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in lead roles. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who has previously appeared in ads for Victoria's Secret, will replace Megan Fox as the lead actress. This will be Huntington-Whiteley's debut in feature films.
Produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Transformers 3 will be released under the banners of Paramount Pictures and Dreamworks.
Rumor is the antagonist in Transformers 3 will be Shockwave.
