‘Natobar Not Out’ a comedy film which will release very soon should appeal to all minds of people-rural or urban. It is about a budding poet, a topic which is very close to most Bengalis. This is the story of Natobar a poet from North Kolkata who does not get recognition from any quarters but suddenly one day he gets a job as a copywriter in an ad agency and he stars getting acclaim for his copy. His life changes overnight and he starts living a life of luxury. He starts getting closer to his colleague Ujaala rather than his girlfriend Misthu. However all this does not last long as his company loses the contract for which he was working and he goes back to his father’s factory and starts working there.

The rest of the film is to be seen to understand why Natabar is still ‘not out’ at the end of the film. The film stars newcomer Mustofa Prakash (from Bangladesh) [WBRi exclusive interview] as Natobar, Raima Sen as Misthu, Ananya Dutta [WBRi exclusive interview] as Ujaala, Kaushik Ganguly, Ramaprasad Banik, Biswajit Chakrabarty, Sudeepa Bose, Kharaj Mukherjee and others while Jeet, Moon Moon Sen, Mir, Biplab Chatterjee and Saswata Chatterjee have guest appearances in the film.

The music for the film has been composed by Debojyoti Mishra (WBRi exclusive interview)and the songs have been sung by Shreya Ghoshal, Upal, Anindya, Anwesha and others.

The music launch of this film was held at Muktiworld, Kolkata on August 17, 2010 in the presence of the director Amit Sen (WBRi exclusive intervciew),  most of the members of the cast and the music director Debojyoti Mishra.

Proceeds from each album will go towards the benefit of underprivileged children of Hope India who were present on the occasion.
