Rituparna’s next film Pota dar Kirti has its music launched: promises to be an all out entertainer

The cast and crew of upcoming Bengali film Pota dar Kirti recently came together to launch the music of the film. The film which stars Rituparna Sengupta and Priyangshu Chatterjee in lead roles,is being directed by Jeet Dutta.


It was a merry picture as the actors, directorial team and the music team of the film unveiled the music of the film. Rituparna Sengupta posed happily with Ferodous though the shutterbugs missed clicking her with onscreen lover Priyangshu Chatterjee who could not make himself available for the event. Actor Partha Sarathi and Shubhasish Mukherjee were also present at the launch. Singer Anwesha who has lent her voice in the film too graced the occasion.

Apart from the film’s cast and crew, stalwarts like Debojyoti Mishra , Haranath Chakrabarty and actor Sohom graced the occasion and expressed support for the film.

Rituparna Sengupta said on the occasion, “The film has a hilarious script which would be loved by all. Audience of any age can watch it. It is going to be a total family entertainer for sure.”


About the film, director Jeet Dutta said about , “ This film is about Pata da, a Gangster who goes through a dramatic change after he falls in love with a lady. He will be seen planting flowers where he is expected to plant bombs. He also inclines to playing flute like Lord Krishno and many other weird things. This creates a lot of problems and confusion among his gang. At the same time Chocolato, the leader of the rival gang plans an attack on him as he thinks that Pata is responsible for the death of his brother. What happens after that forms the rest of the film’s storyline. I am not going to reveal it at this moment and the audience has to catch the movie in theatre halls to find out.”
