Kolkata designer Abhhishek Roy launches summer collection with a fashion show

Renowned persons from different fields came together and walked for the fashion show held by Kolkata based designer Abhishek Roy. The Fashion show titled ‘Colours of Life’ showcased the summer collection by the young designer Abhishek whose label ‘Bohurupi’ is at present one of the more sought after fashion brands in the city. Tollywood actors Indrasish Roy and Sohini Sarkar truned show stoppers for the show. The other eminent persons who were seen walking in Abhishek’s outfit included stylist and actor Neha Panda, singer Ujjaini Mukherjee, Miss India Earth 2003 Jyoti Brahmin Vij, dancer and artist Paramita Saha, makeup artist Ryan Peterson and ace photographer Kaustav Saikia. Abhishek’s collection was dominated by bright single neon colours and cotton seemed to be the principal fabric used in them. Indrasish was spotted in a golden and white round neck suit while Sohini dazzled in a neon green cape and jumpsuit fusion outfit. Her matching headgear was hard to miss.


Paramita Saha too looked gorgeous in an asymmetrical dress. Ace photographer Kaustav Saikia walked the ramp wearing a white and neon blue round neck suit while popular makeup artist Ryan Peterson was spotted in a white jumpsuit. Designer Roy had dressed Singer Ujjaini in a layered tunic dress with palazzo. Stylist Neha Panda walked the ramp in long flowy asymmetrical attire. The cute stylist who had also acted in a couple of Bengali movies looked a diva in the silvery ash dress. Abhishek’s choice of dress for former beauty queen Jyoti Vij was a layered tunic outfit in neon yellow and neon green. City models like Runa Laha, Ruchira Mookerjee. Imtiaj Haque, Tanveer Hussain, Ravi Shaw and Diti Saha also walked for Abhishekh Roy displaying his summer collections. The fashion show which was moderated by popular elocutionist Sujoy Prasad Chatterjee saw the presence of actors Bonny Sengupta, Pujarini Ghosh, Bobby Chakrabarty, model turned actress Ratasree Dutta and choreographer Sudarshan Chakrabarty.
