Preview, Story, Cast: New Kolkata Bangla Movie Jara Roddure Bhijechilo; Re-introducing Rabindranath Tagore

Kolkata, August 4 (Washington Bangla Radio): WBRi recently visited a song recording session of the upcoming film Jara Roddure Bhijechilo to know more about the movie. It is in this recording that it was revealed that the film is about two extremes of heterogeneous human society, one is a five year old child and the other is an old man approaching eighties. According Bhargonath Bhattacharya, the director “The story reflects the introduction of Tagore through the perception of a five year old child whose normal tendency is obviously to be in his own nonsensical world. The film will actuate Tagore in a new manner to the audience.”

Soumitra Chatterjee plays the role of the grandfather of the N.R.I child.

The film stars Soumitra Chatterjee, Arjun Chakraborty, June Maliah, Subhasis Mukherjee and such other actors. The film which is being produced by Lundia Groups and Virgo Vision also mark as the debut of a young talented cute child    
Music director Piloo Bhattacharya said “We are not incorporating a new experimental music but the music will obviously have flavors of Rabindra Sangeet. Recitation of poetries by Soumitra Chatterjee is organized in a radical form and will be presented for the justifications of emotions during the scenes.”

The actors themselves are lending their voice in order to justify their characterizations and the zest of the film. According to the music director Piloo Bhattacharya it was just to get the natural instinct which will define the characters that this plan was implemented. Even the actors are not doing any make up for the film. “

The writer of the film Ashok Basu tells us that the pulse of acting will become more genuine when the actors will lend their voice for song.

Bangla movie on Tagore

While having conversation with Arjun Chakraborty, the veteran Bengali actor told us “I love to sing songs. In this movie I am singing two Rabindra sangeet “. He reveals that he is playing the character of a sad man who runs a laughing club as he thinks that it can be a distraction from his worries. He indulges himself along with Soumitra Chatterjee and takes the responsibility of introducing Tagore to the five year old boy.

When asked about his feelings of working with debutant directors in new wave of Bengali films, he said “I am exceedingly and extremely excited, I want to work with new fresh blood who have their own visual power, imaginations and thought process, which intrigues me like anything.”

Bhargonath’s film Jara Roddure Bhijechilo is a drama inclined to the elements of shades of human emotions and relationships. A film by which audience will get to know Tagore in a different manner and definitely through the perception of five year old child whose thought process is unsymmetrical.

The film has will probably release in the month of December.
