Kolkata, August 16, 2012 (Washington Bangla Radio/Penning Creations) The first look of the much awaited Arjun Chakraborty and Mimi Chakraborty starrer new Bengali movie Bapi Bari Ja was unveiled on the 14th of August in Galaxy at The Park Hotel. The film will mark the debut of both the lead actors, Arjun and Mimi, and will also see the presence of four other new faces.

The unveiling of the first look took place in the presence of the cast members of the film along with director duo and the media. Actor Abir Chatterjee, a good friend of the directors, also was present on the occasion and joined in unveiling the first-look posters.

After the success of Teen Yaari Kotha, Sudeshna Roy and Abhijit Guha, the two directors, are back at the box office with the film Bapi Bari Ja. Expecting to entertain the audience with their latest flick, both the directors are looking forward to the release of the film. They are introducing no less than six new faces to the Tollywood fraternity with this youth-centric film.

The film stars Arjun Chakraborty, Mimi Chakraborty, Srijit Mukherjee, Dhrubalal, Tista Datta, Shalmi Barman, Aninda Chaterjee, Bulbuli, Abhro and others as cast members. All the new actors and actress seemed to have enjoyed the making of the film and working with the directors.

The film is produced by Prosenjit Chatterjee’s production house Ideas Creation and Shree Venkatesh Films and will focus on the relationship that is shared among contemporary youngsters and the complications and confusions that they go through in life.

The script of the film is written by Padmanabha Dasgupta and the music is directed by Jeet Ganguly and Palash Sen. Ustad Rashid Khan and Usha Uthup have lent their voices to the tracks of the film.

Directors Sudeshna Roy and Abhijit Guha introduced all the young actors to the press and made them feel at ease. Arjun Chakraborty, Mimi Chakraborty, Dhrubalal, Tista Datta, Shalmi Barman, Aninda Chatterjee, Bulbuli, Abhro and Pamela were present at the event. Arjun and Mimi are already well known faces at every Bengali household as they have entertained them with their serial Ganer Opare, which was also produced by the Ideas Creation.

Along with the first look of the film a trailer was also shown to the media representatives.
