Few minutes of Silence was observed, prayers made, followed by an appeal made by the Punjabi Global Foundation to the US consulate. The appeal read unhappiness of the Indian Sikhs over the insecure living condition for the Sikh community in US who are one of the major contributors of the US economy.

“This Sunday’s attack on a Sikh Gurudwara in Wisconsin has once again brought to light the regularity of such tragic incidents. Such a violent act at a place of worship makes it even more horrible. We, therefore, make an earnest appeal to the Authorities to find ways and means to reduce this senseless violence perpetrated by disillusioned individuals. The Sikh Community has been targeted since 9/11 and it is totally unacceptable. We appeal for increased security to the Sikh Community at the Gurudwara,” said Gurpreet Kaur Chadha.
