Orlando, FL, August 4, 2011 (Washington Bangla Radio / PressReleasePoint) Now in the sixth year at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande-Lakes, the Festivals of Speed, Presented by Lexus of Orlando, is set for October 7-9. This heralded luxury automotive event, for benefit of the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, will once again bring together world’s most exotic automobiles, aircraft, motorcycles and watercraft. This year, Festivals of Speed has continued to expand by adding an additional day of automotive appreciation to the annual, Luxury Lifestyle Jet Port Reception, Wine Connoisseurs’ Dinner, and Motorsports Collection Display as well as a VIP Pavilion that is now located directly on show field, to cater to the true speed aficionado.

The weekend begins Friday evening in a private hangar at the Orlando International Airport, where the Festivals of Speed hosts the annual Luxury Lifestyle Jet Port Reception. The Jet Port Reception will feature a preview of the some of the most noteworthy vehicles to appear over the weekend as well as an enhanced display of both vintage and contemporary aircraft which promises to be the largest and most significant aircraft display in Festivals of Speed history. The setting is complete with gourmet food stations, top shelf open bar, smooth jazz, fine art, watch displays, elegant jewelry, luxury products as well as a live and silent auction of unique items to benefit the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

Set for Saturday, October 8th, the Festivals of Speed has added a series of activities to cater to the automotive aficionado, collector, and VIP guest of the Festivals of Speed and the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes. Those in attendance will experience some of world’s most heralded automotive icons first hand as manufacturers operate special “Ride & Drives” for qualified drivers. Select guests will also partake in unveiling of new vehicles, sponsor hospitality events, motorsports seminars, driving schools, and much more during this highly anticipated afternoon.

On Saturday evening, Festivals of Speed will host an exclusive Wine Connoisseurs’ Dinner & Louis XIII de Remy Martin “A Century in a Bottle” tasting experience. This culinary event is to be held at the nationally known, Primo restaurant on the beautiful Grande Lakes property, which will be closed to all but Festivals of Speed guests for this very special evening.

The weekend concludes on Sunday October 9th, with the Motorsports Collection Display of over 300 exotic cars, motorcycles, boats and aircraft. Guests will view the rarest in vintage and contemporary vehicles all amongst the splendor and hospitality of the beautiful Grande Lakes property. In addition to the many other world class vehicles on display, the Lexus LFA, 2012 Lamborghini Aventador, Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Sang Bleu, Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, 2012 Mosler Raptor, and a rare collection of vintage Packards have been confirmed. Additionally, guests will experience automotive designs by Lexus, Porsche, Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, Aston-Martin, BMW, Mercedes, McLaren, and more and while encountering fine wines, exciting culinary offerings, robust cigars, smooth jazz in the gardens, and luxury lifestyle displays featuring fine jewelry and timepieces. As a new feature this this year, the private VIP pavilion is now located directly on the show field.
