Actress-model Shubha Poonja was crowned Miss Chennai 2003 and has appeared in many ads and Tamil and Kannada films. She started her career in Tamil films with K. S. Vasanthakumar's Machi. Preeti's recent Kannada films include Anjadiru, Thakath and Golmal. Preeti is the winner of a Filmfare award for best supporting role in the Kannada superhit Moggina Manasu.
