Director Pranab Chowdhury's Bengali Movie Musalmanir Galpo has a star cast of Magician P C Sorcar Jr's beautiful daughter Mumtaz Sorcar and Indrajit as the lead pair, with Locket Chatterjee, Paroma Sarkar, Biplab Chatterjee,Chinmoy Roy, Sankar Chakrabarty, Anamika Saha, Rajat Ganguly, Sudip Mukherjee and more.

The film is based on the story of the same name penned by Rabindranath Tagore a couple of months before his death. Check out the excellent translation of the story by Dr. Mohammad Omar Farooq  HERE.

Mumtaz Sorcar plays the title role of Kamala in the film.

Music direction is by Debojyoti Basu. Soumitra Chattopadhyay has performed some elocution and the film songs have been sung by Haimanti Shukla, Sampa Kundu, Subhomita, Disha and Pritha.
