Ramakrishna Ashram representatives and writer-poet Dibyendu Ghoshal meet Governor of West Bengal to present Homagni book

Governor of West Bengal Representatives of The Ramakrishna Ashram and writer-poet Dibyendu Ghosal met M K Narayanan, Governor of the State of West Bengal, India on July 2, 2010 to present the Governor with the Bengali book HOMAGNI that deals with spiritualism. Dibyendu Ghosal and the Governor also discussed Ghosal's two books Night of Ten: La Noche Del Ten and The Mitters Of Kolkata during the meeting, as well as the many poems, novels and stories written by Ghosal that are in circulation across the internet and in print worldwide.

The meeting took place at Rajbhavan, Kolkata which is the official residence of the Governor.

Other than creative writing, Dibyendu Ghosal is involved with Human Rights and Animal Rights organizations, including Amnesty International and People for Animals. The latter is chaired by Maneka Gandhi, daughter-in-law of the famous Indian prime-minister Indira Gandhi. According to reports, Indira Gandhi had personally requested Dibyendu Ghoshal to join the efforts of People for Animals.
