DABANG (2010) is a forthcoming Bollywood Hindi movie starring Salman Khan - Sonakshi Sinha - Arbaaz Khan - Sonu Sood in lead roles with Om Puri, Anupam Kher, Dimple Kapadia, Vinod Khanna, Mahesh Manjrekar and more. The film is directed by Abhinav Kashyap, the younger brother of the venerable Indian film-maker Anurag Kashyap. Abhinav Kashyap is well known for his excellent screen-plays in previous films. DABANGG will the first film where Abhinav dons the director's hat.
According to reports, Salman Khan plays police officer Pandey in the film that revolves around the corruption-driving nexus between criminals and law enforcement in some parts of North India. Actress Sonakshi Sinha plays the cop's lover.
Dabangg has a release date of September 10, 2010.
