Milan Luthria's Bollywood Hindi movie "ONCE UPON A TIME IN MIMBAI"  has a star cast of Ajay Devgan, Kangana Ranaut, Emraan Hashmi, Prachi Desai and others. The scheduled release date is July 30, 2010.

Ajay Devgan plays the role of crime-lord Sultan. Emraan Hashmi plays Sultan's chief henchman Shoaib, who will go on to rise in his own mafia empire at the cost of Sultan. The story about the conflict of a veteran and a young and ambitious don is told from the perspective of a cop.

The characters of Sultan and Shoaib are modeled after legendary Mumbai strongman Haji Mastan and the allegedly Pakistan-based South-Asian crime lord Dawood Ibrahim. Haji Mastan is known to have developed a close nexus with Bollywood cinema and has actually produced films.
