Filming of a Bangla Telefilm named 'Shongshoy' [Doubt] has been completed on Thursday [June 3, 2010] evening in Dhaka.

Tanjika, Shoeb, Probir Mitra, Nasima Khan, Abdul Aziz, Mesbah, Kamrul, Lota, Aman, Monty and Jonak played different roles in this film.

Story of this film is based on a woman named Saima who belongs to an elite family in Bangladesh. During her teens, she fell in love with Maruf, a less educated - unemployed youth defying her parent's objection. On completion of her graduation in business administration, she married Maruf defying objection from her parents.

Few years after marriage, Maruf pressed his wife Sayma in managing some money from her parents for him to start a business. She finally convinced her mother, who lends 45 million Taka to Maruf.

On receiving this money, Maruf went abroad in search of fortune. He subsequently fell in love with a woman there. Gradually he started ignoring his wife [Saima] and two children, who are living in Bangladesh.

Meanwhile, Saima, being virtually deceived by her lover-husband, tried to commit suicide a number of times. At this stage, Rashed enters her life. He was even liked by Saima's mother and other members of her family. Saima gradually started changing into normal life at the love, care and affection of Rashed.

Saima's mother, though happy with Rashed for bringing her daughter into normalcy, was always curious about the identity of this young man. She even tried to know, who Rashed is. At one stage Saima also became curious in knowing the identity of this mysterious man.

Shongshoy is produced by Vibgyor Films.

Story of this film is very much different from many other contemporary telefilms produced in Bangladesh.

This telefilm will be shown in any of the television channels in Bangladesh during coming eid. Meanwhile, a number of Bangla television channels in United Kingdom and USA have shown interest in showing English sub-titled version of Shongshoy.
