Kolkata, July 20 (Washington Bangla Radio) : The music of latest Kolkata Bangla Movie Alik Sukh was launched in Bengal club of Kolkata. The evening was brightened up by the cast and crew of the film who attended the event with great enthusiasm. The film is directed by Nandita Ray and Shiboprasad Bandhopadhaya. Though Nandita Ray could not attend the music launch as she had to fly to New Delhi for supervising some post production work of the film, Shiboprasad made up for her absence and played the perfect host for the evening.
Bubbly actress Sayani Ghosh appeared in a white casual shirt and instantly made the photographers go busy clicking. Looking fresh as ever, she also posed for some pretty pics. “This is just my second film and I am lucky to enact such a challenging role. I would always like to try out newer roles.” Sayani told the media.
The event started with the unveiling of the trailer of the film which gave an idea about the content of the film. After the trailer, the audience was treated with the songs too. Just when the audience was engrossed in judging and admiring the songs, Rituparna Sengupta arrived turning all heads towards her. Dazzling in a red saree, she was inevitably the center of attraction of the shutterbugs.
After an extended round of photography session the director called for the launch of the music album and all the members of cast and crew were called upon on stage. The whole team of ‘Aleek Sukh’ came together in a single frame during the do.
After the launch it was a time for everyone to enjoy live music as Anindya and his team played a Goan theme song from the film. In the film the song has been shot with real life doctors. The musical team danced and sang and enjoyed the evening thoroughly.
Present at the event was Biswanath, ace dancer Alokananda, director Nitish Ray and other prominent personalities of film industry.
Deb Shankar Halder who plays the lead role of a doctor made a late entry as he was busy with some of his prior theater commitments.
The director let the media know that there would be more promotional events in Hospitals and hoped that the film would be loved by the audience.
