Kolkata, July 24, 2012 (Washington Bangla Radio / Penning Creations) Tapasi Roy Chowdhury launched her audio CD of Shiv Ganesh Vandana under the banner of Cozmik Harmony at the Press Club of Kolkata on the 23rd of July. Singer Tapasi Roy Chowdhury was present at the audio songs launch event along with Shivaji Chattopadhyay, Shridip Ghosh, Suman and Goutam Susmit, all of whom expressed optimism about a positive reception of the album.

The CD has two parts in it. The first part covers Shiv Vandana which has four tracks, and the second part has Ganesh Vandana which has five audio songs.

Out of the nine tracks of the double CD album, four have been written by the singer - songwriter Tapasi Roy Chowdhury herself.

Lyricists of the remaining songs are Manatosh Chakraborty and Goutam Susmit.

Tapasi Roy Chowdury expressed her delight in being able to sing to show respect to Hindu Gods Shiva and Ganesha.

She pointed out the Audio CD was being launched on a Monday which, according to the Hindu traditions, is an auspicious day.

Shivaji Chattopadhyay said he is glad Tapasi Roy Chowdhury is coming up with something traditional and different. He and all the other guests present at the venue encouraged the audience to buy original CDs and abhor piracy.
