Kolkata July 28, 2012 (Washington Bangla Radio / Penning Creations): Those who had watched and liked the 2005 hit Kya Kool Hai Hum won’t miss this all-new flick and those who unfortunately missed that wacky comedy shouldn’t miss Kya Superkool Hai Hum either. Fuelled by a wild combo of love-chemistry and comic muffle, the kool guys of Bollywood have now truly arrived at the theatres in a Super cool avatar. This adult-comedy promises to offer the audience a really super hilarious time. Go to the theaters, fasten your seat belts and enjoy this wildly entertaining ride!

Major Singh (Puneet Issar) has two sons. The elder one, Sid (Riteish Deshmukh), is a DJ and the younger one, Adi (Tusshar Kapoor), is looking to become an actor. Adi is in love with his cousin Subbalakshmi (Neha Sharma) and Sid falls for Swathi (Sarah Jane Dias). Situations lead them to undertake a hilarious road trip to Goa in search of their love. They face comic chaos in the unknown place, as some new characters appear on the scene. It is their journey that you will love to be a part of - discovering how the two hilariously contrive their way through tricky situations. So be quick to take your phone and dial the theatre’s number. Tickets might run short!

It is indeed strange why Tusshar does not look in fine fettle in any other movies of his, apart from these kool affairs with Riteish. The way in which the duo complement each other is plain magical. You will love Tusshar as Adi. He is super kool!

Same goes with Riteish - terrifically Kool and lovably mirthful.  This incredible, kool pair is bound to survive in the much awaited sequels of this franchise that would surely follow.

Former Miss India Sarah Jane Dias is natural as an actress. She, as well as Neha Sharma, fit the cast quite admirably. Their poise, zeal and spontaneity add greater momentum to the film.

Anupam Kher is endearing and admirable. As expected, the quality actor affixes qualitative value to the movie. Bollywood’s veteran actor Puneet Ishar makes a pleasant papa to the wild leading men. Chunkey Pandey is hilarious, especially in the introductory scene. Howard Rosemeyer and Razzak Khan deliver equally convincing madcap performances. Rohit Shetty and Mushtaq Shiekh charm as guest artists.

The music of Kya Supercool Hai Hum has a flamboyant range of composers to mesmerize you.  From Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy to the very sensational Sachin-Jigar and Meet Bros Anjaan, they all arrange a ‘super kool’ floor for you to jump in and dance to the funky beats. Sonu Nigam, Kailash Kher, Vishal Dadlani, Daler Mehndi, Sukhwinder Singh and Neeraj Sridhar lend their playful voices to match the mischievous lyrics well.

Cinematographer and editor Ravi Walia and Aarif Shaikh do a fine job in Kya Super Kool Hai Hum. Scenes are captured and presented in a very fresh, colorful and contemporary manner.

The movie also benefits from a very taut and swift screenplay. While a few of the gags do seem forced, most of the naughty jokes would definitely work big at the theaters.

The screenwriter of Kya Kool Hai Hum, Sachin Yardi, takes over the director’s mantle in this flick. He presents a full-on entertainment package and makes you laugh till your jaw hurts. At this rate, Yardi would surely remain the producer’s choice as the director, if another sequel indeed comes!
