Kolkata, July 16, 2012 (Washington Bangla Radio / Penning Creations) Director Narayan Roy has recently started shooting his Bengali comedy movie "Buddhuram Dhol Duniya Gol". We had the opportunity of visiting a shooting location on July 13 at P-51, Hide Road Extension in Kolkata where we watched acting powerhouses Mithun Chakraborty, Victor Banerjee, Kunal Padhi and Rupa Ganguly in action and chatted with them about their film.

"Buddhuram Dhol Duniya Gol" is the first film to cast Mithun Chakraborty and Rupa Ganguly in leading roles opposite each other. Though they have previously appeared in a number of Tollywood and Bollywood films in small roles together, never have they played lovers who get separated and reunited the way they will be seen in this film.

Mithun Chakraborty plays the role of an cop named Buddhuram Dhol who is expected to solve all cases that come to his department. Roopa Ganguly plays his love interest who gets married to Kunal Padhi's character. She essays the role of the mother of Katha who runs away from her home.

Apart from Mithun and Roopa the film stars Victor Banerjee, Kunal Padhi, Sayak and others in important roles. The director kept the name of the actress who will play Katha a tantalizing secret for now.

The romantic comedy will be shot in Madras, Hyderabad and Kolkata among  other places. The production team is working hard to create and recreate the sets so as to meet the demands of the story and match the scenes. The story is written by Tapan Pal and Narayan Roy, the director himself.

This film is expected to complete shooting and release in 2012. Needless to say, we all are eagerly looking forward to watching Mithunda and Roopa Ganguly magic on the silver screen.
