Phire Esho Tumi (2012) Bangla Movie Premieres in Kolkata

Bengali Actress Meghna HalderKolkata, July 2, 2012 (Washington Bangla Radio / Penning Creations) The premiere show of the movie Fire Eso Tumi took place at Indira Hall, Bhowanipur.  A majority of the cast and crew members were present to spice up the occasion.

Vivek TrivediThe hero and heroine of the movie, Meghna Haldar (right) and Vivek Trivedi (left), were present at the occasion to address journalists. The heroine Meghna was looking gorgeous in her white lehenga. Actor Anup Kr.Sharma who plays a prominent role in the film looked dapper on the evening as well. As a newcomer, he was pretty excited about his on-screen appearance.

Equally excited was the director of the movie Ashis Mitra.  He also expressed optimism that the onscreen pairing of Meghna and Vivek would sizzle in Phire Eso Tumi.

Bengali Actress BahniOne of the leading female actors Banhi (right) was present at the premiere with her family members, in a remarkable black gown. Other actors of Phire Esho Tumi like Mrinal Chatterjee, Raju Thakkar and Raja Chatterjee were also present there to add to the festive spirit of the show.

Speaking about his character in the movie, actor Mrinal Chatterjee said that he was essaying the role of a corrupt police officer in Phire Esho Tumi. Raju Thakker referred to his character as a middleman in the human trafficking business.

Others however, refrained from commenting on their roles in the movie.

Unfortunately Badshah Maitra, who also features in an important role in the movie, could not attend the function.

The premiere and press meet was scheduled to start at around at 6pm, along with the screening of the movie. The cast and crew members of Phire Esho Tumi gathered to meet the media representatives during the interval. However, no press meet and media session were held either before or after the screening.
