June 7, 2010 (Washington Bangla Radio) Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra will play a role inspired by Susanna from Padma Shree Ruskin Bond's dark comedy-thriller Susanna's Seven Husbands in Vishal Bharadwaj's Indian Bollywood Hindi movie SAT KHOON MAF.

In Bond's story, Susanna will actually kill all seven of her husbands. 

The seven poor spouses to be killed by the heroine will be played by Naseeruddin Shah, John Abraham, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Irrfan Khan, Anu Kapoor, Vivaan Shah and a foreign actor.

During production, the film has gone through two name changes. Initially, the project was titled Seven which was then replaced by Ek Batta Saat and finally 'Saat Khoon Maaf'.Mohanlal is not acting in this film.
