The Unknown: Trailer

Ranadeep's first venture though it is a short film is promising because it takes courage to make a film based on the element of horror on the very first attempt. The actors are a little amateurish, but Trishna who was also the anchor for the evening at the premiere is the best of the lot. Ranadeep has decided to reveal the mystery at a much later date as he intends to make this short film into a complete full length feature film and till then the audience can keep guessing whether it is a living human being, a tormented soul or anything else that keeps on finishing any one as soon as they come to Kantapukur.

Ranadeep has assisted many eminent directors in their previous films, notable of them being Suman Mukhopadhay (Mahanagar@Kolkata [Buy Bengali Film on DVD in USA]), Sanghamitra Chaudhuri (Rahasya (DVD), Jeena (DVD) and Bidehir Khonje Rabindranath), Kamaleshwar Mukherjee (Go for Goals, Uro Chithi) and even Anjan Dutta in his forthcoming ‘Ranjana Ami Ar Ashbo Na’. He has also assisted Biplab Roy Chaudhuri in 19 telefilms and it is natural that he would have made his own film someday and so this is his first venture. The film has been produced by Ranadev Kar who has plans of making this short film into a full length one.
