May 25, 2010 (Washington Bangla Radio) The new full song
promo-preview trailer of upcoming Maniratnam film Ravana (Ravan,
Raavana) featuring the song KATA KATA BECHARA BAKRA has
now been
released online. Mani Ratnam's eagerly awaited movie Ravana (Ravan,
Raavana) has an announced release date of June 18, 2010. Raavan will be
released in three languages simultaneously - Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Looks like there is some sort of an occasion being celebrated and there is a lot of song and dance. Bakra (goat meat) is a great delicacy in Indian and of particular appeal to Bengalis - the black Bengal goat (aka Pantha) is an eternal favorite of Bengalis, including this correspondent. It is not known if Mani Ratnam's film portrays goat meat as food or the reference to cutting a goat in some other context.
