Kolkata, India, May 22 - After ‘Khoka 420’, Tollywood hunk Dev and flawless beauty Nusrat Jahan will be  seen together again in the upcoming Bengali movie ‘Love Express’. The movie is being directed by Rajib Biswas, the same director who had paired up Dev with Nusrat together last time.

Reportedly ‘Love Express’ is inspired from the Telegu movie ‘Venkatadari Express ‘which released in the year 2013. The comedy flick was directed by Merlapaka Gandhi and starred Sandeep Krishnan and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead. In the Bengali version,  the roles of Sandeep Krishnan and Rakul Preet Singh are being played by Dev and Nusrat respectively.

In the movie Dev will be playing a guy who belongs to a strange family. What makes his family queer are the rules laid down by his father who is over concerned about his family’s reputation. .To ensure that the family does not get a bad name, Dev’s father has made a rule that whoever commits 100 mistakes will be banished from the family. Dev’s elder brother has already committed the same and has been banished and now he has to stay in another house.

Dev has already committed 99 mistakes and one more mistake will oust him from the family just like his elder brother. At this time his elder brother’s marriage is fixed in another city and their whole family boards a train to attend the marriage ceremony. But Dev has something else in his destiny and missed it, particularly due to a scuffle with Nusrat  in the film. As not reaching the ceremony will be his 100th mistake, he chases the train by road. During this chase all hell breaks loose as Dev faces a number of unexpected twists and turns in the journey which includes repeated encounter with Nusrat. What happens in the journey and how he reaches the ceremony is revealed in the rest of the film.

Nusrat Jahan and Dev’s chemistry may not have bloomed to its full potential in Khoka 420, their previous and only outing together as  the script of the film allowed Nusrat only to be the second female lead of the film and the chemistry of Dev and Shubashree had eclipsed Nusrat’s act in the movie. But this time Nusrat has every chance to prove that she is no less in creating an on screen spark with Dev. She has already done it with Jeet. If she makes it again with Dev , her march forward in commercial movies will be unstoppable.

On the other hand Dev is recently going through a low phase as his last genuine solo hit was ‘Chander Pahar’ in 2013. After that Dev’s films like ‘Bunohaash’, ‘Yoddha’, ‘Herogiri’, and ‘Arshinagar’ bombed at the box office.  Though ‘Shudhu Tomari Jonno’ received positive response from both the critics and audience, Dev shared screen space with Soham in the film and hence the film cannot be considered as his solo stint.

So Dev will be looking forward to ‘Love Express’ to turn the tide again in his favour and prove that he is still the best actor in Tollywood to invest in.

The movie is expected to be a thorough entertainer and the director Rajib Biswas is a tried and tested director who can execute such genre of movies with élan. So hopes will surely be  high for the movie.
