This WBRi correspondent caught up with the director and the lead characters of the film at Ideal lake view apartments where a Durga Puja scene was been shot. Partha Sarathi Joarder, the director of the film felt that there was a need for relevant education to be introduced in our schools and colleges. The parents must be frank with their children and make them aware of these issues. Or else there will be more of such issues and both the parents and the children will suffer. Lack of awareness is a huge problem in our society, feels the director.

Kishnakishore Mukhopadhyay who plays the role of Mr Gomes, the father of Twinkle (Rittika) agrees sex education must be made compulsory. This will help in preventing problems in the life of the children and also the parents. When the children face problems, they rush to their parents. “With the help of this film, the message that we want to convey is that the parents must be open with their children so that such accidents can be prevented. This will save hardships on the child and the parents” added Krishnakishore. The actor when questioned about censor problems that the film may face, said that there was no such scene or dialogue which will create any problem in getting the film approved.

Rittika dressed in a printed tank top, denim hot pants and long curled tresses looked beautiful. The actress who started acting from the tender age of six felt it to be a great opportunity to be acting opposite such veteran actors like Krishnakishore Mukhopadyay, Sabyasachi Chakraborty and others. She added that they are “very helpful”. On her chemistry with Akash, the male lead in the film, she added that they are good friends. Akash who plays the role of Sourav was happy to get a break in films with such a cast of experienced actors. “I have been learning so much from them. Every day is a learning experience. Actors like Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Krishnakishore Mukhopadyay whom I have been watching on screen are now my co-actor. This is an awesome feeling” said the actor, who is busy handling his studies with his acting schedule.

Manjusree who is enacting the role of Mariam, the step mom of Twinkle stressed on the fact that “Though most parents say that they are frank with their children, there still exists a hidden line between them. This becomes evident when they change the television channel or go out of the room when an intimate scene is been shown. The parents must be open with their children and this will help in preventing such mistakes”. Highlighting on her character in the film, the actress said “I am playing the role of Twinkle’s step mom. Since I have been raising her from a young age, I love her a lot. Mariam becomes devastated when she comes to know that Twinkle is pregnant”. The role is more focused on the mother-daughter relation than on the husband-wife relation.
