Dr. Sudipta Ghosh who had been trained in dance and drama for twelve long years choreographed the movements for the children. “It is not easy to make the children remember the steps for the dance. But I have tried my best and the children have also worked very hard for the dance” said Dr. Ghosh. After the great opening performance, the children took the stage to perform on “Unity in diversity”.  The dance performance saw the children performing to dances from several states like Kashmir (Bhumro Bhumro), Maharashtra (Majha sari lau), West Bengal (sadher lau banailo more boiragi), Punjab (hayo rabba hayo rabba), Assam, Rajasthan (Resham ka surma), Goa, Gujarat (dhol baaje), tribal dance and South India (South Indian version of Jiya jaale). The songs and the dance forms chosen were typical of the states from where they had its origins. Decked up in colorful dresses, the children looked cute and adorable.

The Guest of Honor Sk. Nurul Haque was felicitated by Dr. Ghosh. Sk. Haque opined that he was immensely impressed with the way the children were performing. He went on to say that the children were smarter than he was at their age. Haque opined that at such a tender age he could hardly remember his name, leave aside remember the dance steps. He acknowledged the efforts behind the dance show both by the children and Dr. Sudipta Ghosh. He complimented the children by describing them as “Taare Zameen par”.
