An Introduction to Little Rock Film Festival
The Little Rock Film Festival is pleased to announce the 5th Annual Little Rock Film Festival to be held on June 1st, 2011 - June 5th, 2011.
The Little Rock Film Festival is an annual film and cultural event held each year in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas, based in the thriving historic River Market District. Back for its fifth year, the festival showcases the best in narrative, documentary and short films from local Arkansas filmmakers, as well as films from all around the world. Every film in competition at the festival makes its Arkansas premiere during the festival, with many films being regional, national or world premieres as well.
The festival has hosted more than 350 films from over three dozen countries and brings together notable actors, directors, and producers from all around the globe. They also conduct daily educational workshops for all ages that consist of panels with industry leaders. Each day ends with after-parties at the city's hottest venues - which includes the annual festival gala in the Clinton Presidential Library.
MovieMaker Magazine has positioned the Little Rock Film Festival as one of the "25 Film Festivals Worth Entry Fee."
