Mumbai, May 7, 2011 (Washington Bangla Radio / Kreation Guru) The stylish and legendary actor Mr. Anil Kapoor bags yet another Hollywood project for himself. This is not the first time he has got such a prestigious project in his hand. He has done 2 films in Hollywood before bagging this one. The first was Slumdog Millionaire in which he plays the host of a popular quiz show. 

The actor’s international career kick started with this particular film which was directed by Danny Boyle. The second film he did was Mission impossible 4 in which he had shared his acting skills with none other than the famous star, Tom Cruise. The actor will now be featuring in the movie Cites which is a financial thriller opposite the Hollywood star Clive Owen. This flick basically describes about the greed which happens on a global scale. The climax of the story line has been earthed in the cheerful and lively months making Dow Jones stock market at an all time high.

The first story in the movie is about a bank manager settled in New York who has a perfect life from having money to power and the most derived sex passion, yet a hunger drives him to want more and more out of everything. The role of the bank manager is played by Clive Owen. The second story in the film is about a couple residing in London. Their only dream for now is to get their first luxurious home over there. But it seems impossible for them from everywhere.

And the third and the last story in the film is about a person residing in Mumbai. He is a cop who fights corruption among the property venture investors and few of his own colleagues. The role of one his colleagues will be played by the legendary actor himself. The film will be directed by Roger Donaldson. Mr Roger who was originally born in Victoria, Australia and later migrated to New Zealand in 1995, established a small still photography business of his own.

He then directed as well as produced his first film Sleeping Dogs in 1977. Donaldson’s first American break was when he remade the movie Mutiny of the Bounty which was renamed and then released as The Bounty. This film featured Mel Gibson, Anthony Hopkins and Laurence Oliver.

For his next venture that is Clive, the shooting will most probably start in the month of October. Mr Rogerhas has co-written this script from the original title Extreme Cities which was written by Glen Wilhide. The shooting of the movie will be taking place in Mumbai, London as well as the New York city as mentioned in the script of the film. This project will first be launched at the Cannes film festival market. Even though Donaldson has directed 16 international films earlier, this will be his very first venture with the legendary actor Anil Kapoor. Anil Kapoor is on his way to be an international star in the making.
