Sonar Tori | An Indo-Bangladeshi Rabindra Sangeet Album from INRECO announced

The revered INRECO Music company has announced a unique Rabindra Sangeet album "Sonar Tori" to commemorate Rabindranath Tagore's birthday, popularly observed as Rabindra Jayanti in West Bengal, Bangladesh and the world.

Sonar Tori is a special album in many ways:

* For the first time in the history of Rabindrasangeet an Audio CD is being designed involving artistes from Bangladesh and India.

* To commemorate the 150th Birth anniversary of Rabindranath we have planned an Audio CD based on the songs, poems and letters Rabindranath wrote during his stay around the banks of the river Padma, namely, at Shilaidaha, Patisar, Shahazadpur and Kushtia...all are now in Bangladesh!

* Concieved by singer and director Debashish Raychaudhuri, the script and compilation is by Chaitali Dasgupta.

* Artistes: From Bangladesh: Rezwana Chaudhuri Bannya, Mohammad Anisur Rahaman (songs), Narrated by Asaduzzaman Noor

* From India: Rohini & Debashish Raychaudhuri ( the Father-daughter duo) (songs), Narrated by Chaitali Dasgupta.
