In celebration the spring season, the season of love and color, Sudeshna will explore India’s rich musical heritage music from different regions. She will include many traditional and much heard songs in her recital. Sudeshna Basu started her musical training under the tutelage of famous Hindusthani classical vocalist Smt. Meera Bandyopadhyay of Patiala gharana. After a training in classical music, Sudeshna started taking Rabindrasangeet
lessons under the great maestro Sri Ashoketaru Bandyopadhyay. Recently, she has started taking lessons on Dhrupad from the famous Gundecha Brothers. Devapriya Nayak (Debu) began learning tabla at the age of three from his grandfather, Chaudhury Kausalya Nandann. Later on he became a disciple of Pt. Radhakanta Nandi.
