Tintin 3D Movie ReleaseApr 15, 2010 (Washington Bangla Radio) TINTIN comics lovers across the world are eagerly looking forward to the 3D Tintin movie release "The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn".

The film based on Herge's timeless comics characters of Tintin, Captain Haddock, Prof. Cuthbert Calculus, the Thompson twins and so on, has a tentative United States release date of Dec 23, 2011.

The star cast includes Daniel Craig, Jamie Bell, Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Gad Elmaleh, Toby Jones, Mackenzie Crook and others. The film is directed by none other than the great film-maker Steven Spielberg, and distributed by Paramount.

"The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn" can be expected to have the sequel ""The Adventures of Tintin: Red Rackham's Treasure" as in the comics series. Prof Cuthbert Calculus debuts in the series with this story, trying to promote his doubtful looking submarine that looks like a shark which, despite early mishaps, ultimately proves to be extremely useful.

Captain Haddock also will eventually come to own Marlinspike Hall over these two comic book stories.
