Apr 15, 2010 (Washington Bangla Radio) Award-winning and world-famous Indian film-maker Shyam Benegal (Welcome to Sajjanpur (2008) DVD) has made a documentary short titled Unusual Concerts on the legendary Indian  classical vocalist Pandit Mallikarjun Mansur. Benegal has collaborated with Rajsekhar Mansur in making this film.

Pandit Mallikarjun Mansur (1910-1992) was a recipient of three top Indian civilian awards - the Padma Shri (1970), the Padma Bhushan (1976) and the Padma Vibhushan in 1992.
