Manoj Michigan’s 89 kicks off with a grand premiere, Sourav Ganguly drops in to wish

Kolkata, April 26, 2015 (Washington Bangla Radio): The premiere of Manoj Michigan directed 89 turned to a glamorous event as hosts of celebs from the t-town poured in at the venue.

Saswata, the super antagonist of the movie arrived at the do with his better half Mousami while the leading lady Raima was seen posing along with his mother Moon Moon Sen. Raima and Saswata posed together for the shutter bugs and it was not long Moon Moon sen joined them for the photo ops.

Newbie Shataf Figar was spotted in a dapper avatar as he sported a black suit accompanied by a winning smile. The constant presence of the very hot Mumtaz Sorcar beside him surely had made many ladies envious.

Director Manoj Michigan long with producer Ranjan Bandhopadhaya and Satrajit Sen was seen greeting the guests at the premiere. It was quite a sight to spot them along with the whole crew member wearing the 89 t-Shirt especially designed for the premiere.

The arrival of Sourav Ganguly seemed to create the most of the buzz. Though the beloved cricketer had made everyone wait for long and could catch only the few minutes of the movie, he spend an ample amount of time posing with the cast, crew and the guests sending the shutterbugs into clicking frenzy.   

Ganguly later told WBRi, Bengali films are evolving for better. Though I could not watch the entire, I liked the treatment of the film. I am a big fan of Saswata and he comes up with a completely different act every time. I will make sure to watch the whole movie very soon.”

Apart from Raima, a host of pretty ladies contributed in glamming up the venue which included Amrita Chattopadhya and Pujarini Ghosh.
