Manash Bhattacharya Releases New Bengali Audio Songs Album "Ei Poth"

Kolkata, April 18, 2013 (Washington Bangla Radio): In the cool ambiance of Music Kafe in Kolkata, Manash Bhattacharya’s new album “Ei Poth” got launched. The event was attended by eminent personalities like Prasenjit Mallick (singer who sang songs in Awara and Deewana), Bappa Arindam (Music Director), Archan (ex-Kaya band), Mainak Nag Chowdhury and Gaurab Chatterjee (drummer and music director).

In a conversation with the singer-composer, many facts about the album produced by Rooh Music were reavealed to WBRi.

“The singers (Tamalika, Debashis, Avijit, Arijit and Lil Weely) in the album are all new in this field. This is the reason why the name of the album has been given “Ei Poth”. The launch of the album is quite significant as this is the starting of their journey in this field. The singers have worked hard and I hope the listeners will appreciate the effort”, said Manash. The composer was all praise for the singers and commented on their dedication and their enthusiasm during the recording of the songs. There are seven songs in the album namely “Ei poth”, “Ei sohor”, “Brishti Bheja”, “Rajpothe”, “Moneri jala”, “Kali kali” and “Rap”. The music of this album has been composed by Manash Bhattacharya.

The composer has a long list of albums waiting for release this year. Apart from “Ei Poth” the composer is busy with his next album “K LO” which will release soon. Mayuri and Monotosh Chatterjee have sung songs for this album. “Nesha” and “Dur e oi akashe” are two of the songs in the album. The other songs were not revealed by the composer.

The composer is also busy with his Hindi songs album “Tere Bin”.

“Nach paglu Nach” is another album lined up with lots of foot tapping numbers in it. The composer feels the songs in that album will make everyone dance to the tunes.

Present at the launch was Kumar, Manash’s friend and an eminent singer. He is working with Manash on the album “Bristi”. The singer was very appreciative of the work of his friend and wished him all the luck on the occasion.

Manash and Kumar have also opened a music school named Harmony School of Music near Park Circus to impart musical education to the interested individuals.

Tamalika, Debashis, Avijit, Arijit and Lil Weely, the singers who made their debut in this album were extremely excited and happy to get such a chance. They thanked Manash Bhattacharya for giving them a scope to showcase their talents and also thanked Rooh Music Company. They were also extremely happy on working with Manash and hoped that the audience will appreciate their work.

Mainak Nag Chowdhury and Gourab Chatterjee congratulated the new singers and also praised Manash Bhattacharya for doing such a commendable job of finding new talented singers. Mainak Nag Chowdhury said “Manash is trying to start a new genre of singing songs and this must be appreciated very much”.
