When WBRI asked Akshay and Imran about the research they have done about the characters they play respectively as it has been reported that the movie is based on two real life dons Dawood Imbrahim and Chota Rajan, Akshay said that in spite of speculations of their playing those real life characters, reality is the story is based on many scattered real life incidents and some made up stories too. So they did not need to do any research on any particular real-life don.

Kolkata is known for sweetmeats and the interactive session started literally sweetly as the three stars were asked which sweet they think they resemble. Akshay instantly answered that he resemblse ‘Kaju Barfi’ as it is his favorite sweet. Imran’s reply was wittier as he said that he sees himself as ‘Kheer Badam’ as he looks very simple from outside but his real charisma is hidden inside, just like the sweet itself. Sonakshi went for ‘Rasogolla’ as she thinks nothing is sweeter than that.

Then the actors were requested to give a message to the city of Kolkata one by one. Akshay said that he worked in the city for two years during 1983-84, and his message to the citizens of Kolkata was that whenever anyone goes out to work that person should seek blessings from his parents by touching their feet to achieve success.

Imran said that he is very excited about watching the match at Eden Gardens as he has never been to the historic cricket ground before and he has heard that the crowd at the ground is deafening. His message or rather request to the people of Kolkata, especially those at Eden Gardens, was to live up to their reputation and get loud at the stadium so that he can feel the thrill to its fullest. When Imran was warned (jokingly of course) that the noise can be quite a few times louder because of their presence and that can damage his eardrums, he said that with a superstar like Akshay Kumar and a gorgeous lady like Sonakhsi Sinha at his side, and two deadly cricket teams at the field, he will be far below in priority.

Akshay Kumar also recalled his days during his stay of two years in Kolkata. He took a walk back down his memory lane and said that he used to work with Shiva’s Travel Agency near New Market. He said that he used to work as an errand guy and collected the application forms of people for passport and air tickets. He used to save a part of his earning everyday so that he could treat himself with a tasty breakfast on Sundays. He said that he used to visit an eatery at Chowringee which was not too costly to have a hearty breakfast. He added that the taste still lingers on his tongue and if he had been in the city that morning, he would surely have had breakfast at that place.

Akshay was also asked if his young son Aarav is debuting in films. He said that his son is just a kid of ten and he is not facing so much of a hard time as to send his son to work for earning.

The three stars also promised to come back to Kolkata for more IPL matches and promotions.
